I was inspired by my grandmother to pursue a role in nursing. She worked as a nurse in St. Albans. I began my career as a nurse in the emergency department, and after witnessing a birth there, I fell in love with midwifery.I find working with laboring people and people seeking midwifery care so rewarding and inspiring. I enjoy helping bring new family members into this world.I have clinical experience in Sexual Assault Nurse Examining as well as Forensic Nursing through my midwifery career and emergency nursing background. I am especially passionate at helping people navigate this trauma and supporting them through the intensity that follows the healing process. I practice this skill set acutely and follow people through their first year after assault.I enjoy spending time with my dog and my family. I enjoy field hockey and any sunshine I can find.
